How to

Cut music for your routine.

Make your cuts where the count says, not where the waveform guesses. Here's how to do it in a few minutes on your phone.

Step by step

How it works.

01

Bring in your track

Import a track from your phone, or record one with the mic.

02

Find the eights

Turn on the count. Each eight is laid over the track so you can see where phrases start.

03

Cut on the one

Trim the start, cut what you don't need, then copy, paste or split to rebuild the routine.

04

Smooth the joins

Add a fade in or fade out, and nudge the level up or down by up to 3 dB.

05

Export

Save a WAV or MP3 and play it in class, at rehearsal or on stage.

Questions, answered
